Need monitor for Model B

Postby Yankeerunner » April 15th, 2018, 12:54 pm

Anyone got a spare they don't want?

The PM1 on my rickety old Model B has given up the ghost. New batteries only last a couple of workouts then go blank. If anyone has a bargain monitor that would work I'd be a buyer. A retrofit PM5 would apparently cost $180, and would undoubtedly be worth it, but the machine probably isn't worth that even with a new monitor. If possible though, I'd like to keep using it on occasion, if the price is right.

Thanks

eBay or Craigslist is probably your best bet to find someone who's upgraded from PM3/PM4 to a new $180 PM5 and is selling their old monitor.

Do you know if there are issues with a PM3 or PM4 that had been on a Model C or Model D working on a Model B? It seems to me that others have had such issues in the past.

There's a hidden menu to set the monitor model. If the batteries go dead flat you have to reset it on that menu.
