Just picked up a great deal, now to get started!

I just picked up a used Model D/PM5 with 37K meters on it for $550!

I had been pondering whether to invest in a new PM for my Model B, but the price of this made it a no brainer to just start out with the Model D. Now I need to sell my Model B. How much do you think a Model B without monitor, updated foot holder would go for?

You got a bargain! Good job.

Just checked eBay, there are two on there for $895 and $800. That seems a little high to me, but they do hold their value unless you find a steal like you did. (I bought my used model C for $200 from a neighbor who, obviously, had no clue). Without a monitor, I think I'd start at $600, just a feeling. Good luck!

Seems a very high price to start with for a "B" without pm.... but good luck. I paid £380 for my D with a PM3 and have a C that I think cost about £250 years ago with PM2.. sinse stopped working replaced with a PM5
