Are there CSAFE set methods provided in the SDK?

Postby MNSki » February 12th, 2018, 2:50 pm

I am trying to develop software that will act as a course simulator. To do this, I want to be able to set a speed cap on the ski erg based on altitude climbs, the resistance of the erg for uphills, and I want to manipulate the graphics display to act similarly to a bar graph (this will represent the changing altitude). To track the course, I would employ something similar to the race game, which contains a linear representation of how far into the race the skier is. While I would like to do all these things, after going through the documentation for the SkiErg, I couldn't find any set methods to alter the display or the resistance. It did appear that there was a set method for speed, but the method (on page 53) says it is not implemented. This is confusing, as it shows that command in the list of implemented commands for the erg. If anyone has any knowledge about this topic, I would love to hear what they have to say.

I think an email to info@concept2.com or to ScottH@ the same domain (he has his email in his forum avatar) may be a better way to get an answer to this one.
