Thanks Bill.

Have a chat with David Hart, he's just implemented the ignore function on http://concept2.co.uk/forum.

old forum

Postby c2bill » March 16th, 2006, 5:50 pm

i've put the old forum back online for reference purposes only - it is still vulnerable! so beware when visiting - i can not promise that it won't be hacked.

i've put it up so that people can retrieve and post info that they would like to carry over - but it won't remain up for long.

-bill

ps - have already emailed david h. about the ignore user function and rss

Love the new forum.

Could we have a link to Concept2 on the main page?

In principle, yes, but it may take a little while to work out :)

For now you can just put the URL in the title header, say instead of "Main"

Oops. Actually it didn't work. Your code looks like this:

Code: Select all
<a href="www.concept2.com">Visit Concept2.com</a>

but it needs to look like this

Code: Select all
<a href="http://www.concept2.com">Visit Concept2.com</a>

I think the admin might have the option to add "View Last 24 hours posts." Grammatically hinky, but useful.

The old forum is at concept2.ipbhost.com (for a limited time!). But remember, if you go there it may have been hacked again, and you may get infected with some very persistent viruses and malware.

Cheers, Paul
