Knocked this up today in about half an hour ...which is about 27 minutes longer than it looks but I was being fussy.
Made one layer first from an old spare gym mat. Rowed 10k on it which left it with two little bony indents which I marked with a pen before they faded away.
Cut second layer without the cutouts. Superglued together, trimmed, then glued a piece of that non slip rubber you get on a roll to the underside.
Feels super nice and squishy and comfy in all the right places. Hoping the added height doesn't make things weird.
Hopefully row another 10k tomorrow to find out.
