ERGIQ.

Postby bob01 » April 6th, 2018, 8:38 am

Hi ... I am using a pm5 along with my fenix 5 sapphire.
I have downloaded ergiq to my watch.
However it won't start or pick up info from my pm5

Any thoughts.

I am also running ergdata and bt headphones.

Not a big issue but if I am using the wattbike ...indoor bike.. for example and try to switch activity ergiq is not anavailable option

Thanks bob

You're more likely to get an answer by contacting the Garmin developer: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/2fc7 ... tdeveloper for support.

Hi,

I think this is what's happening.

Bluetooth BLE does not support connecting a peripheral (the PM5) to more than one controller. So you can connect the PM5 either to your phone running ergdata or your watch using ergIQ, but not both.

Ok.... Will try it again next time at gym. Hr is ant+. Garmin .

To me this all seems to be inferior...fenix 5 is a great watch... but is deficient in indoor rowing... surely it is within Garmin's compass to provide an experience similar to that with wattbike etc

I can go on a wattbike. Run android phone... running wattbike hub... for pedal stroke efficiency...fenix..headphones... and sufferfest through an ipad...
