I was kidding of course about percentages, we are what we are - heck, there are many would see 172 2Ks at 7:30 and think that was pretty good too! Do you do it every session or do you stick it on particular sessions?
'Expectations' and 'Fear of Failure' are the two most often 'killers' of a maximal 2k time's imo and I've been guilty of both of them several times over
No I don't do a 2k WU for every session mainly, due to time constraints, I've honed some of my training programme sessions to include integral warmups so I'll only do these 1-2 times a week normally, as a precursor to something like 8x500s, 5x1ks or similar.
