Adaptive Oar Gearing/Rigging

Postby OarsAdaptingOars » July 25th, 2015, 4:14 pm

Does anyone in the forum have experience with setting gearing/rigging for A/S athletes in para-rowing?

My adaptive club is just starting our first season and I need help finding what truly works before ordering our fall season equipment. My Rec. squad would like to casually race and feed our Performance Program this season as the goal, so I hope someone can lend a hand...

Many thanks!!

Check with the Long Beach Rowing Association. They have had a successful adaptive rowing program there for many years and can probably give you very good advice.

Please feel free to call us at Concept2 to discuss some starting points for A/S rowers. Mark McAndrew works with many adaptive clubs and is very familiar with typical rigs for various classes and athlete levels. Call 800-245-5676 and ask for Mark, or email him directly at markm@concept2.com
