I use these https://www.skins.net/eu/skins-a200-men ... ights.html

Comfortable to row in, but no padding for the a$$ though.

I don't know if this was posted before or not but I've noticed that a few of my pairs of shorts have an inner "lining". Not great for the rower. The friction by the inner liner in the shorts creates nasty, nasty chaffing. I make sure that I never row now in those shorts. Since then, no problems.

I probably already said this earlier in this thread, but cotton briefs under short nylon gym shorts work best for me.

This one looks like a decent, low-cost foam pad -- http://www.joann.com/airtex-foam-chairp ... ad&start=4 ....
Has anybody tried it?

Haven't read every post in this thread, but has an anyone experienced one (or both) of their glutes rolling over while rowing? My left glute has started rolling over in the past few months and it gets pretty sore after 5 minutes or so. I've tried towels and they don't make much difference. It's never been a problem in almost 5 years of rowing.
