Championship Pace and Rate Data

Postby Ralph Earle » January 5th, 2017, 5:31 pm

Where can I find the charts of pace and rate for medalists at Crash-B or BIRC (or any other national championships)?

I want to collect data on pace vs spm for old folks like me (74 in three weeks).

Thanks in advance,
Ralph Earle

Concept2 used to publish it back in the day. I'd send an email to rowing@concept2.com and ask if they've got the splits/stroke data from any recent races.

I've got some from the Basingstoke 2500m competition I used to run before the overheads (venue, van, rowers) vs the number of entries got to high.

What's the chances of the Basingstoke races coming back? I always remember how well organised they was.

It's impossible, you can't run a competition on ten ergos / ten warm-up machines and make enough money to cover the overhead costs.
