Phenomenal, Dave ... Just 31!
You win the HM challenge, I'm sure.
Where would you like your virtual trophy sent?
and, Wild Bill, I'm with Baz ... thinking about the meters you just rowed makes my head spin!

If I wasn't lavish enough with my approbation before for the 31 Half Marathons in a row, let me be clear - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, MATE!!!! Having done 31 HM's is a terrific accomplishment by itself, but churning them out one after the other for 31 straight days, not a single day off, is the true measure of a "gut check."
The FRC is not over for me yet

Humble thanks...
Thanks to all for the congrats... however there are plenty more worthy "ergers" than me - how about our quiet achiever from Europe... great metres from Bart! And of course Will S and Kiba are amazing!
Wild Bill - you are as usual in a class of your own... and a constant source of inspiration! (Then of course there is the good Doctor Dan stirring along behind me... glad he had an enforced break early in the challenge
)
The knowledge that you are all out there dragging in really big metres made it easy to justify the discipline of doing the HMs - and that was the hardest thing... once on the erg the distance was easy enough.
I will enjoy not feeling I have to do another one, and I can definitely do with a bit more variety in my exercise... however I will strangely miss my hour and "fortyish" appointment with the C2 each day...
And Just27, are you suggesting a name change? Is that how you got your name in the first place??
I think the virtual trophy should be kept over till we have the awards night on arrival at our destination. Then it will be PARTY TIME!!
Enjoy your remaining metres (West coast USA still has a few hours I think...)

Wild Bill
Delivered!! (Plus a little extra) 1,207,000 metres for the FRC
Luckily, the FRC caught me at a peak - the timing couldn't have been better.
Honestly, without the Team Luna-Tics providing inspiration I doubt I ever would have accomplished so much.
Thanks, Team!
During the FRC I passed 13 Million Metres Lifetime - another accomplishment I never thought possible.
Now I think I'll order that pad for the seat of my Erg ...

FRC: It's A Wrap!
......
Well done! A number three finish in the virtual teams category! A quick look at last year's competition shows just how much MORE rowing is going on around the world for the Fall Rowing Challenge. Last year's cumulative totals for all teams for the FRC was 220 Million Meters....this year, it's almost 355 Million Meters. That's about a 62 percent increase I believe!
The 2008 Luna-Tics were a mighty team of 96...and generated 7.9 Million Meters. The 2009 Luna-Tics were a mightier team of 69...and generated 12.48 Million Meters....a 58 percent increase over the previous year! We're right in line with the average increase seen in the overall meters for this year's challenge vs last year's challenge.
Some great efforts by a special crew - thanks for rowing as part of the Luna-Tics 2009 Fall Rowing Challenge Team. It is our sincere hope that you met and exceeded personal milestones, and were inspired by your teammates on this journey to the moon! We hope to see each of you on future challenges!
Challenge meters as of 31/31 = 12, 475,548 m (still have until the 18th to get your meters in the bank if you have not done so!)
Total meters on the day = 464,461 m
Crew on the roster = 69
MILESTONES....Bragging Rights....Celebrations: "Awards" Ceremony will be held after all meters have a chance to come in....look for it on Oct. 19...
