I'm sorry to cause any inconvenience. Many people seem to be reccomending the Wolverine Plan, but upon looking at the Discussion Thread I didn't receive any straightforward introductory answers, it was more for people that understood the plan. Is there anywhere I could find a basic intro to the plan...

I planned on doing the 200K, but after getting an infection after my wisdom teeth were removed, I was sidelined. I"m doing the final piece today and finishing with 162,000 some odd meters. At least I can still get the pin from the kids challenge.

I lost a lot of wieght, but the way I did it is I never viewed my workouts as weight loss efforts. I viewed it as getting into better shape and having a good time. IT more easily becomes a part of your routine and you don't think about it as much, making it easier for the weight to come off.

do long pieces, it may not help you too much by the time the season starts, but it will get you into good shape 2 weeks earlier than if you didn't start at all

while there is some minor use of the pecs and triceps, they aren't used during the strength-requiring part of rowing, to prevent muscle imbalances and injury, do bench presses

water takes the heat out 50 times faster than air, if you get cold in 32 degree weather and have trouble moving within 15 minutes or so uninsulated, that gives you less than a minute to gain your bearings and swim in, it's a risk

I took 6 months off from erging to work run competitively, and recently started getting in shape for crew again. The rest paid off, and I'm more motivated.
