Thank you

Thank you, John. The unusual thing is the program says it has been successfully uploaded. Also it makes mention of the upload having problems with browsers other than IE. I normally use Foxfire, so I used my IE to upload and it supposedly worked. I'll contact Dena at C2. Thanks again.

Image/Photo for log book ranking

I have successfully uploaded an image for my log book ranking, but it does not show. I have cleared my cache, refreshed the page and turned off and on the computer. Any suggestions.

Strapless

There is a thread in the Women's forum about strapping in or going strapless. When you don't strap in, you don't have the 'cheating' motion of the straps and it works the balance and core muscles better. I really focus on the core when I don't strap in. When I'm ready to really haul erg I strap in. ...

Stretches

I agree with Roger, the site he suggested is an excellent one. I don't know if they mention it, but your body stretches better if you are warmed up. If you are working out first thing in the morning, you need to put in about 5 minutes of very easy rowing or some other form of erg or getting the hear...

Don't scream so loud whilst erging!

I love that. When working out in the gym and with the powerlifters putting in a heavy workout, it freaks out the 'recreational' lifters. One guy sounds like a boar or bull charging through the gym :P When I'm getting toward the end of a heavy hard set, I let out some 'tiny' grunts as befitting a 'la...

I'm not sure which monitor it is. It is at the gym. I'll check to see which one it is next time.

How to program time countdown

Could someone give me a step by step (I'm slow on the uptake sometimes) procedure for setting the program for a time countdown instead of count up?

Still motivated, but....

At almost 56, I am still motivated and have a passion for weight lifting, cardio, stretching, cycling, whitewater & surf kayaking, rock climbing, indoor rowing, and staying active in general. I own a garden maintenance business and do hard physical work 6 to 7 days a week in addition to my other gym...

Rowing in real water.

Thanks for saying HI. I forgot to mention in my initial post that I rowed crew and scull in college and for several years afterwards with a club. I love being on the water, but I'm not an early bird and the nearest club is quite a ways from here. My way of getting on the water now is kayak - ocean, ...
