Re: Concept2 Model D PM5 - Connect issue!

UPDATE: So I downloaded the ErgData app on my iPhone and its connected via bluetooth without a problem. I used the Zwift app again on an android phone it connected to the rower via bluetooth, but then it shows as "No Signal". I can go into riding mode / start riding, but I'm sitting there doing not...

Re: Compare rankings

Thanks Freddie, thats great to read. And about your tip, I wil think about it. The hard part is to do it automatically without getting duplications.(no reference exits to the logbook-workout and only the name is tricky) Maybe it will a manual job, I very much dislike  :D And if I look at y...

Re: Forum Flyers

Thanks Rich! It's always interesting to see how widely spread we all are. Some good looking times there, and I'm sure the HM will come down quickly as soon as you get used to the distance and need less breaks. There is a plan somewhere on my long to do list to get some short member profiles onto a w...

Re: Forum Flyers

Hey Forum Flyers! New member here, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I'm new to rowing. My previous athletic background (years ago) was mostly casual running. I resolved to get back into shape this fall, by whatever means necessary. With the public gyms shut down, that ultimatum has re...

Re: Forum Flyers

Just wanted to say hi as I'm a new member, new to rowing and happy to contribute to the team. Been a cyclist for a long time and core/arms/grip are suffering. Received my C2 Mdl D mid December and have been working on technique and getting rowing muscles activated(i.e. sore..haha). Starting to feel...

Re: Introduce yourself

Greg From Fort Worth Texas here. 65 yo male. Had to switch from Erg to Bikerg after back and knee surgery. The riding has been awesome to help rehab the knee. I have no specific goals at this point, other than keeping the knee moving. I'm riding 6-7 days a week, 20-30,000 meters total per day. I'm ...

Re: Looking for a team

Hi David

If you don't find a team in the real world to join, you're always welcome to check out the Forum Flyers (team thread here and new member guide here).

We're a virtual team running since 2001, and have a wide range of abilities, goals, etc. in the team.

Re: Forum Flyers

Not particularly looking forward to this, this kind of piece is my Achilles heel  :D I'm with you on this, Freddie! I think I must do it this weekend, and just get it behind me. The only small win I can see is that you can take the time of the first interval to tick the IRL / FMMC off at the s...

Re: Forum Flyers

I still have to do an entry, so that's at least 1 of the missing 2 accounted for. Pencilled in for tomorrow night.

Re: A DIY sensor to measure handle speed

Very interesting read, thanks for doing the hard work and sharing! A future enhancement could be to find a way to track the movement of the seat (using a series of equally-spaced magnets on the rail, with a sensor under the seat). You could then get an analysis of how synchronised the seat and handl...

Re: Forum Flyers

We do seem to have extra lightweights recently, and fast ones too, which is great! Well done guys, and stay away from the temptation to eat your way through lockdown (as I've been doing :)). I was on a mission to unlock the Zwift 14 days in a row badge, but can now show some love to the dusty rower ...

This is now fixed.....I hope!
Thanks Jon. I noticed the change when I refreshed last night - didn't double-check with a calculator, but certainly looked in the right ball park!

Re: Forum Flyers

I had also assumed it was the forecast end total, and hadn't noticed the issue until Sheena pointed it out. I was wondering if it had something to do with using the last x days as a moving average for the future estimate, but the solution is simpler although less intuitive. I was wondering about pop...

Re: Forum Flyers

All metres are useful, Anna Rae, so don't underplay a 100k contribution! The useful thing about these challenges is that they help fight the demotivations along the way. In non-challenge months I definitely can talk myself out of a training session with a range of excuses, but if I feel like I'm let...

Re: Forum Flyers

My apologies for long time no check in! I was going through a tough time, pain wise. And wasn't rowing during that. With the physiatrists and the neurosurgeon not being keen on me rowing, I thought I best listen, stop, see if my nerve pain improved with rowing completely out of the picture. It didn...
