Some space for a Dutch indoor rower? Been rowing on my "own" for 5 years now, and want to join some challenges together with others. Do I have to do something else? I am quite new to the online Concept2 world.

Regards, Johan (52, Netherlands)
Welcome on board, Johan!

Re: Forum Flyers

Hello Forum Flyers, I joined the Flyers for the C2 FTC. I enjoyed watching everyone's progress throughout the challenge. My only experience with the rowerg was limited to usage at the local health club. We only had 2 ergs there, so time on it was limited to 20 minutes. After the health clubs were c...

Re: Forum Flyers

Hi there! After checking out the forums I just joined the Forum Flyers Teams and also set my affiliation to Forum Flyers. I have been rowing on the erg on and off but the last 2 years i've found a team and started logging the meters. Over the last 3 years i logged 8M and intend to keep a regime of ...

Re: Forum Flyers

Well managed 168965m for the fall challange. Quite happy with that for my first challenge. Managed to complete my first half marathon as part of it too! Hopefully I'll manage the 200000m next time! Great effort, Neil. Will be a good warm up for the Nov/Dec individual Holiday Challenge (200k). Bewar...

Greetings Forum Flyers! I'd love to join your team to participate in team challenges. I'm completely brand new to the challenges world, and have been doing just my own thing offline before now. Looking forward to learning how this works! :D
Welcome Christine! Glad you chose us :).

Re: Forum Flyers

Check that solid and steady volume out! Nice work, Jack. Worthy leader on our team challenge board, with only today left on the challenge. We've far surpassed our previous best distance, so well done everyone for the contributions. I didn't get to the volume I had planned on, mainly because of 2 wee...

Hi

You're welcome to check out the Forum Flyers. I've just replied to someone else asking a similar question, so here is that reply with various useful links related to the team.

Re: Looking for a "weak joints" team

Hi all, I'm new to the forums, and am not having a lot of luck in looking for a team to join for different virtual events. I'd like to find a team of "slow rowers" who may not finish the fastest, but finish nonetheless. I do a lot of steady distance rows and can pack on the KMs, just not at a very ...

Team BikeErg on Zwift looking for members

Hi all Zwift is running a Team Racing League from mid-October to early December, and I was looking for a team to enter. Shaun Breen had already started a Team BikeErg team on Facebook and ZwiftPower , so it made sense to add to his numbers to have a better chance of entering a full team into the Rac...

Re: Forum Flyers

Also a reminder to everyone that you can also enter your 4 minute score at the FMMC site. Most months the events coincide with the IRL, and the Forum Flyers are represented there in most months (I noticed a lack of entries during August's marathon challenge!).

Re: Forum Flyers

That's the info I've got for now, and if I understand correctly we need our teams set in stone by tonight. hi there Ewen and thanks for the heads up - I have been wrestling with both getting an entry done and how to sort out the sudden explosion in our team numbers. Terry and I both got one done to...

Re: Forum Flyers

CTC update: Fortunate are we to have a boat VII which will float with the addition of one more entry. Only two days to go. Time to lean on wives and lovers. [Mr. Babbs quicker on the draw] Looks like we have another floater. And I'm sure Mr Woodley is grateful to be leaving someone else on t...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

How do the challenges work in ctc, I mean as in is there a guaranteed number of sprint or long distance events per year? Or can this not be answered because teams pick different events each month, each year. If you scroll back a couple of pages on this thread you'll see one of Joe's monthly announc...

Re: Forum Flyers

Hi all I'm glad to see everyone functioning perfectly in my absence. The sign of a good leader I hope - set things up and the team gets stuck in with minimal guidance :). Some busy work times recently kept me off the forum and the training equipment, but I've been trying to do some catching up. I st...
