I think mine shipped on a Tuesday and I had it on Thursday, in Virginia.

I bought mine having never been on the water or on the erg. Love it!

The positive split idea sounds good and worked for me when I tried it. I normally just drop the pace to 2:20 or so for atleast 10min or until the heavy feeling in my legs is gone. The cooldown does seem to help with recovery and soreness.

I just did 14,616m in 60min. Even pace of 2:03.2 was easy for the first 40 min and with 17 to go got harder fast. HR slowly drifted from 150 to 160 and jumped upto 169 in last few minutes. Impoved on last pace by 2.5sec per 500m. Lots of fun.

If the data is still on the logcard it should be no problem. If you have your profile set up online it's pretty painless. Use the logcard utility.

7:19.0 for a 2K and it felt easier than my 7:32.9 from 3 weeks ago. I'm going to try to wait at least a couple of weeks before trying another, but I feel I've a little more in me right now. I want to see sub 7 soon!

Tried my first 100m last night. 16.2s then 15.9s. Low pull was 1:17. Best 5k was a couple days ago, 19:58.7 and was actually paced pretty well. My sprint finish was about 1:54 for the last few pulls.

Nothing that hurts this bad should be this much fun.

Thanks guys. Guess I just need to start thinking carb depletion rather than muscle damage. Rowing is more endurance ever though power is required. Another question. What kind of recovery does the body do after a hard row. I feel fine with-in 20 min or so after rowing most of the time. A hard 2k or t...

Guess I got lucky and did something right for a change. I had the shake after my HM. I was pretty much beat after that and figured I needed something fast.

Your info sound good enough for me. Thanks.

Post row nutrition

I've been lifting for about 9 months and have gotten pretty consistent with post workout nutrition. I would start drinking a high protien/high carb shake as soon as I caught my breath after my last set and have a good quality solid meal with-in an hour. I haven't been doing this with the erg. Only h...

I'm very new at all of this, but the low rates just seem natural to me. I'm 234lbs and almost 6'4" so moving up and down the slide at 30 plus seems akward to say the least. A slow easy piece for me is around 14-15 spm. Doing anything over 2k for time I seem to fall into a groove at about 18spm at 2:...

My wife was home and got the UPS driver to carry it into the house for her. My 5 year old son was nice enough to open the box for me but couldn't get the parts out of the styrofoam. I had a hard time finding the log card and chain oil but the assy. was a snap. I haven't tried the RowPro. Is the demo...

I know the feeling. My new Model D showed up at home about the time I walked into work. Even worse I had to stop by the store for milk and the such on the way home. It was about 1AM when I got mine together and started rowing.
