I sure miss the days when there was live video broadcast of the races. I would spend the whole day watching the races. It was very motivating.

I had recently completed Week 4 column 1 with a progress test of 30 so I figured Week 4 column 3 would be up next until I noticed that I was supposed to perform a fifth set of 32! Obviously, the reps for this program were not thoroughly thought out. Next, I tried week 3 column 3 Day 1 twice but coul...

No live video

Does anyone know why there is no longer live video of the competition?

I used to watch the competition all day long because it was so exciting and really motivated me to keep rowing.

Re: Tap confused?

I was with you until your parting shot. When do you consider your body to be compressing while rowing? Bio-mechanically, you decompress on the drive, hence the argument (as I understand it) for inhaling on the drive. In terms of body tension, the compression happens on the drive, hence the argument...

Ian, if you have a heart-rate monitor then you may want to try a couple of tests and see how your heart responds. Get your heart up near 80 to 85% MHR and then switch your breathing. I recently did my first marathon and towards the end I was losing my concentration and ended switching up my breathin...

I'd recommend figuring out the number of calories that you are expected to burn during your 5 miles of walking. I Googled the following site just now and it looks adequate. http://www.preventdisease.com/healthtools/articles/while_walking.html Next you should jump on your Concept 2, set the display t...

Re: So what is the solution if you don't have two ergs toget

but still get these eratic heart rate readings? My HR monitor just drops the signal sometimes or it reads over 200 or around 5 bpm. Would it have anthing to do with using an IPod in my pocket while I row? The IPod is closer to the receiver than the polar belt, so maybe that could be it. Any thought...

View posts since last visit

The "View posts since last visit" link is not working all the time for me. Its come up empty a couple of times in the past even though there were new posts. Any one else experience this? If the "Display topics from previous: " link was available from the main Forum page that would be extremely valua...

I had similar problems. I confirmed that the receiver was working correctly by holding it near the transmitter. I eventually tried placing the receiver at various positions under the erg and then on top of erg with varying results. I eventually placed the receiver near the right foot plate and thing...

RowPro Monitor Location

I just bought a notebook and RowPro and was wondering if others had a preferred location for the monitor. I currently have it located on a small box just beyond my left foot.
