One week later, still no sweatshirt, AND no reply to the e-mail I sent a week ago asking what was going on. I guess I'll have to call on Monday.

It occured to me this morning that I would LOVE to see a RowPro feature that would actually start either incorporated (something very basic) or external MP3 playing software when you actually start rowing.

Is this something attainable, do y'all think? Spinning off this idea, I'd love to ...

Thanks for the link, ulu! It set my mind at ease a bit.

And thanks for your concern, Xeno -- this is a one-time thing for now (no history of bursitis); I haven't looked into therapy or anythign as elaborate as injections for sure, but I just wanted to know if in general this is something...

...of sheer grossness from my knee this afternoon.

About a week ago, I got kind of a bump on my knee; over the next few days it grew to the size of a golf ball, kinda off the side and down a bit. Some friends who are into sports therapy badgered me into going to the clinic, where the doct...

Floyd, if you use the Concept2 online logbook and rank your workouts, then pick "ranked workouts" at the top of the logbook page, it will show where you rank among people in your age and lightweight/heavyweight bracket.

I always shoot for 50%, personally. I'm in reasonable shape, but not ...

There's a couple of looooong threads about this in the FAQ section of the boards, one started as "Lowering my SPM is hard" and that leads into recommendations for strapless rowing; the other is "Strapless rowing," sensibly enough.

Long by my standards is probably pretty short by some of yours, but during 10k rows where I'm just doing maintenance work -- as opposed to trying to make a PB or whatnot -- I sometimes get bored at around the 5k mark and start trying different things.

Just curious as to whether any of th...

I've been listening to "Robot Hive/Exodus" by Clutch for my last three rowing sessions. It is gut-wrenchingly awesome. "10001110101" comes along at just the right moment for my rally in a 10-k set.
