Nice comeback at the end Anne, TR is never going to be comfortable.

Me I had 3 good sessions then have come down with the flu again so no training yesterday or today and I am away on business Thurs / Fri .... good thing this is just for fun :twisted:

Stuart callouses go with the territory and are perfectly natural. You will develop callouses just about anywhere skin is exposed to repetitive movement / abrasion.

Anne I don't think that for us amateurs you can have 50cents (not the rapper) each way on this. Its either HR controlling the pace or aiming for a pace and be dammed with the HR (within reason of course). Carla it would not hurt one bit substituting a 10k or a 60min piece for one of your sessions, in fact if NOT doing so has a negative impact psychologically then that WILL have a negative impact on your future sessions. A hard 5k or 6k is a great AT session substitute.
