I have a similar issue with a PM3... So you may want to see if you pull the plug out a little bit whether it starts working.. then you can go from there. I have emailed C2 but haven't heard back yet.

Main menu --> More options --> Utilities --> LCD Contrast. Once you're on the LCD contrast menu press [change units] three times, then press [change display] three times. Then a hidden menu appears.
