Erging-running transition

If i go on vacation for about a week and am forced to run instead of erg, what can I expect when I get back?

Should I attempt to erg at the same pace I was previous to the brake, or take the pace up a few seconds?

I would run each day, maybe 30 minutes average.

well isnt 4 x 1000 5 min rest supposed to be around 2K PB + 1.

If so, low 6:50's I would imagine.

Ha,

Last spring our coach made us push him inside in his car around La Salle Park, located right next to our boathouse.

Your post Immediately brought me back.

As for books, I got one for Christmas called The Rower's Handbook by M. B. Roberts and Ronald C. Modra.

Hey guys, I think im going to invest in some of Xeno's DVDs and was wondering if you had any advice? I am tempted to buy the set of 7 for 95 $, which seems like a good deal, but i really dont think i will use tecnique DVD, or the upper body DVD. This being said, i am interested in the 19' pyramid, t...

yesterday I did a 1-2-3-4-3-2-1 minute pyramide.
What splits do you guys aim for with this workout?

Today I felt really bad on the erg and could only manage 3000 meters. Maybe a sign that I should be finishing my college essays rather than erging?

Change in training schedule

For the past five months I have been rowing fairly consistantly on the water 4-5 times per week and on the erg 2-4 times per week. The henley regatta marked the end of the summer season and now I begin golf for the fall (a sport which i love and would not give up for crew). I plan on rowing in colle...
