Re: Polar H7 with PM3

I have that part. It worked fine with my old HR strap. I lost my old strap. This is the second H7 strap I've bought. I returned the first one thinking it was defected. Got the second one today. No luck.

Online ranking. 5K vs 1K

I was comparing the total number of entries for the different distances in the online rankings.

500M: 4,339, 1K: 4,044, 2K: 13,228, 5K: 8087, 10K: 5,794

I was surprised to see that the 5K was twice as popular as the 1K.

Any thoughts on this?

In case anyone missed this video of CRASH-B 2010 Junior Heavyweight Men Felix Bach 5 51.8. He broke the chain in his original heat; so they let him go in the next race.(with the girls). Nice technique, and very strong kid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QygNkyToQE Bach F.,86.3,500.0,86.3,33,0 ,,88....

I have a the butt pain problem too. 1 hour rows kill. I use a pad and a wash cloth. I found a product at CRASH-Bs Sunday that I'm thinking of buying. It's a shock absorbing device that was developed to prevent back pain. I'd be getting it strictly for butt pain. Here is a quote from the website: "Wh...

Thank you. Yes the drag factor is on the monitor before the race starts, so you can make your adjustments.
I set it low for the race. The drag factor I used was 112.

I got a PB at CRASH-Bs. 7:08.7 (1:47.2 ave)

This was my pacing: 1:47.3, 1:47.2, 1:47.1, 1:47.1

The stroke rate went up ( 34, 35, 38, 40 ) to hold my ave. pace.

I'm proud that I didn't slow down, and I gave a 100% effort.

Thanks for the advice. I did 15 minutes today for 5.6 miles. I like this pace. I'm going to build it up to 30 minutes.
