Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Yesterday: https://log.concept2.com/profile/1086130/log/42204926 Went into my 1hr with UT2 as the plan, about 1 split in I got bored. Exactly 1 second slower pace than my current 1Hr PB for a finish @ 2:06.4. Today: https://log.concept2.com/profile/1086130/log/42221328 Don't know why, but I chose 15...

Re: Hit my million!

Congrats! You've been more consistent than me. I purchased my rower in the 2015-2016 season, and only got my million meter mark on 1/21/20. My fiance thinks the rowing machine is a torture device when she uses it, and definitely doesn't get the excitement of the accomplishments as well as the folks ...

My pm5 doesn't appear to give me a score screen outside of the target and fish game.... Maybe something with newer batch of monitors?

Re: Weight loss rest days

Hello, I've recently gotten serious about losing some weight, and I've seen many post that longer work outs (and diet changes) are the way to go. So currently I am rowing one hour every other day, I just started doing this two weeks ago. I am at a Drag factor of 115 and trying to keep my heart rate...

I cant imagine being stuck on a row boat that long. Doing a half marathon is tedious enough haha.

I haven't ever used it. Do you have to row at the same time or is it just a session that you both complete as and when you're ready?
Just an easy way to follow the workout log of a fellow C2 log user. Add a buddy and see their recent workouts essentially.

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Started a 1hr workout with the intent of eyes closed free rate... 30 minutes in I noticed my free rate hitting 18-19, decided to continue doing negative splits at that point with rate restriction under 20spm.... Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Did my first serious 30r20 tonight since over a year ago... Set my 30 minute PB doing it (most of my 30 minute sessions that aren't 30r20 are just short ut2 work because I'm not rested for intervals but don't have time for a long row) Drag factor 119. Targeted 2:05 pace 30:00.0 7,214m 2:04.7 180 920...

Rowing The Atlantic

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7897349/Scottish-brothers-beat-Atlantic-rowing-record.html Small excerpt below In 35 days, nine hours, and nine minutes, they rowed their 28ft-long, £50,000 lightweight R45 Rannoch rowing boat across 3,000 miles of shark-infested waters, waves reaching height...

Re: Heart Rate Monitor

I have the Wahoo Tickr Fit and find it unreliable for rowing. I used it a few times then gave up on it. That's surprising. I've never had an issue with it in 2.5 years, albeit used very occasionally recently but I wore it most of the time for my ultra distance sessions. I find it doesn't lock on pr...

Re: Where's Henry (hjs) ???

Yes sadly Henry's back has forced him to step back (whilst he still can). Definitely one of the good guys (we met a couple of times). Must be very frustrating for someone who has been so active all their lives. This is what he wrote recently: Guys, not much rowing from me lately, my rower is broken...

Can't tame the urge to blast off in a 1 hour row.... https://log.concept2.com/profile/1086130/log/41327708 Went into this with goal of holding a heart rate ceiling of 155bpm... Clearly after 12 minutes warming up I changed my mind. 4th split was surreal, holding 193-194 and maxing at 195bpm during a...

Re: Logging non-workout "Just row" rows?

Wow thanks for all the replies everyone! I did just run a test, I'm on a PM5. Connected to ErgData, hit "Just row," rowed a few hundred meters, then just arbitrarily hit "MENU" as it was still counting. The hourglass icon appeared on the screen, and it said "saving to memory..." underneath the hour...
