Re: 12-week program - feedback wanted

Thanks for all of the advice. I suspect that my calculated MHR is close to being accurate. Whenever I get into the 160+ HR range I can really feel my energy getting exhausted quickly and I need to slow down. I seem to be able to maintain a HR of 155 for long rows. Yesterday's workout was a 5K @ 26 s...

I've just started my 2nd week of a 12 week rowing program specifically designed for the Concept 2. Here's what my first week looked like: M: 4x15' SR 18-20-18 / 5' 3' R (HR 73%-83%) T: 10' WU, 3x2K SR 22-24/1K) 4' R, 10' CD (HR 83-90%) W: 10' WU, 2x3K SR 24, 26 6'R, 10' CD (HR 88-98%) Th: 4x15' SR 1...

Re: Stroke Interval feature?

I'm a newbie so I'm looking for advice from the experienced rowers. As for this exercise, it's definitely a strength test that I've got to believe can't be a bad exercise to do once and awhile. For my current routine this only occurs once a week. For those who are interested, here's the website I fo...

Re: Stroke Interval Training

As I wrote this response, I totally thought this should be posted somewhere else.

My question to the developers still stands. Any interest in a strength training interval based on # of strokes?

Re: Stroke Interval Training

Thanks for the tips. This particular exercise stood out as different from the daily interval workouts I've been doing this week. Friday was the strength workout. M: 4x15' SR 18-20-18 / 5' 3' R (HR 73%-83%) T: 10' WU, 3x2K SR 22-24/1K) 4' R, 10' CD (HR 83-90%) W: 10' WU, 2x3K SR 24, 26 6'R, 10' CD (H...

Stroke Interval Training

I've just started to follow a 12-week rowing fitness program and realized that one of the daily interval routines isn't supported by the PM5. The routine is to simply a 6x10 stroke (full force as quickly as possible) followed by a 2 minute paddle. For today I just used the Just Row option but was cu...

Re: My 10,000M and 2,000m times

Just got back onto my C2 after letting it sit for years, so don't laugh at my initial results. I did clean up the C2 (a model C) and upgraded to the PM5 monitor which is fantastic. My drag factor is currently 115 and I've been following a 6 day/week 12-week program. I'm 52, male, ~160 lbs and do a l...

Stroke Interval feature?

Hello, I've recently been following a daily workout program that varies each day's workout. So far I've been able to configure my pm5 for the various intervals based on time and distance but this program has a day where you perform six intervals of 10 strokes at maximum effort followed by a slow pad...
