Did the same with my old C the only issue was that the chain was much noisier than the D... I know you can get an upgrade kit which would probably have fixed it.MiddleAgeCRISIS wrote: ↑August 6th, 2020, 2:53 pmAny model Cs available over there? I've stuck on a PM5 monitor on my 2001 model C and its been brilliant.

Re: Two a days
But the snack demons were hard to fight off while home for COVID and I gained back to 214! This is actually a relative easy situation to fix: At home you are 100% in control of what's available to snack on. If you don't buy it at the store it won't be in the cupboard for you to to eat. Only purchas...

Re: Heart rate monitor advice and should I upgrade PM3?
I had an old analogue Polar HRM with the wired sensor on my old C as stated above it was a pain getting it to work properly. I bought a PM5 to replace a broken PM3, maybe even PM2 (usual battery leakage issue with unused rowers). The PM5 is so much easier to use connects to ErgData and so far no iss...

Re: 2 logbook accts sharing same rower?
I just shut down ergdata on the phone. We always have to select the C2 to connect to but usually we don't have to go through the "connect" step on the PM5 C2 brought that change in some time ago to stop ergdata connection to a nearby erg in gyms... an older version connected automatically

Re: 2 logbook accts sharing same rower?
The only minor issue we have doing as you describe is that sometimes the PM5 will not connect to our phone as it thinks its still connected to the other one.. not often but it does happen.

Re: Fitness first water rower??
I used to own a water rower and a model C C2, I could never understand how two people could use a water rower as there was no adjustment to make it "easier" for my much small partner..
Anyway its long gone replaced with a Model D

Re: Men Health Rower
They're 600 quid on eBay  This is a good thing as the OP may be able to get some value back when the crisis has calmed down (end of June or later). The market for new and used C2's has gone batshit crazy so the Brand-X rower is probably the best bet for the duration. Use heart rate as a prox...
