had a similar issue.
* enable location permission on your phone for the app.
* replace the batteries on the PM
* i updated the firmware to 166 on the PM5
those steps helped me solve the issue.

best training would be to K.O your opponent in less then six minutes. this will enable you to row at your pleasure as you did so far. update: after re-installing the app, it connects but the ErgData doesnt reset its former result. so when starting a workout, nothing happens.

i had a knee injury last December and was forced to sit out until May.
rowed until August and then another corrective surgery that kept me out until two days ago.

i rowed 3*1K at easy pace. its hard to sit out, but with time and healing you'l be back at it.
