BikeErgs don't float - World Erg Challenge
Hi Folks, Thought it might be fun to have a team in the World Erg Challenge (See https://log.concept2.com/challenges/wec ) that is targeted towards us new kids on the block - the BikeErg-ers! Our meters are halved for the challenege, which is fair, but I think we could make a decent showing and mayb...

Re: Zwift technical problems
Any way to get your hands on another pm5?
My firmware is 319 and hardware version is 620.
Datecode is 1942017.
SFE version is 310.
All this under product ID.
Maybe some hardware difference since mine works?

Never had any slippage. Not a big guy (170) and rarely get above 400 watts, but feels solid.

Re: Zwift technical problems
How about reinstalling 319 in the PM5?
Also, Zwift folks often recommend an extension for
the ANT dongle to get it closer to the trainer which for us would be the PM5.

Re: Zwift technical problems
What computer and OS?
Connecting with ANT +FE -C?
ANT dongle in USB?
I didnt notice any changes after 319.
Any software updates on computer?
You've probably checked everything,
but just trying to see if something might
have been missed...

Re: Zwift technical problems
FYI, my zwift has had no problems.
PM5, v319, lenovo windows 10 with garmin ant dongle.
Zwift did update recently, but that caused no problems. Good luck.

Re: HIIT on a BikeErg vs magnetic resistance spin bikes
i know i sound like a zwift salesman on this forum, but i am using zwift with the bike erg and doing 'applied HIITs' during sprints and hills and just racing random people from around the world as i try to catch them when they're generating 250-300 watts and blow by me and i am having a lot of fun! ...

Re: BikeErg PM5 output power via ANT+ (for use w/Sufferfest)
i am using my bikeerg with v. 319 almost every day with zwift.
zwift picks up cadence and power (watts) from the pm5.
had to put an ANT receiver in a USB slot of my windows PC - had an old garmin that works fine.
values zwift reports are consistent with the values the pm5 reports.
works well!

Re: Guilty!!
The lifetime and season meters count every meter equally regardless of machine. Since an affilliation seems to just total a group of people's season meters, it all makes sense. However, if the bike erg really becomes popular, the meter boards may become dominated by cyclists for two reasons: 1. The ...

Guilty!!
Hi All, Been doing Concept2 rowing for 20+ years now and I like the affiliations and teams as it keeps me motivated. I recently got a BikeErg (love it) and joined Zwift (love it) and am starting to rack up lots of meters as cyclists often do. For challenges (Holiday Challenge) BikeErg meters are hal...

Artificially changing damper causing distorted wattage?
Trying to get higher RPMs without generating big wattage (trying to mimic a very low gearing) for longish recovery rides. Using with zwift (highly recommended, btw). Covered grill with plastic wrap seems to give desired result, but reported drag factor stays at 61 no matter what I do. Questions: 1. ...
