Pete’s Plan
Is there an equivalent to the half-hour a day weekly rowing plans like Pete’s Palm that alternate endurance, intervals with rest, etc?

Re: For those who own the SkiErg & the Rower...
After some shoulder and hip mobility work, I do kettlebell swings, hanging leg lifts, goblet squats, and pushups, then a row or ski distance, and repeat. Heart rate stays above 80% but under 90%. This mixes strength in planes and various kinds of endurance.

Re: did you purchase your SkiErg from Amazon?
I recently purchased from Concept2. Waitlist wasn’t too long — a few weeks.
What is listed on Amazon are “other sellers” and prices are inflated. So, worst of both worlds.

Re: Diabetic..the C2 effect
Mwalsh, how has it been going? I have had T1 for almost 30 years. Use the erg pretty much every day. Various complaints will sideline me for months, and then when getting back, the first couple weeks are a real struggle.

Getting to 40 minute
I use a heart rate monitor and keep an eye on the relationship of stroke rate and watts to the HR. Certainly at 28 SPM and under 2:15 split, my heart is at 90 per cent. My advice is to row longer workouts at 20 to 22 SPM, and increase watts (push more with legs and get fuller recovery on the stroke)...

Re: Fat Noob needs starting advice
I saw your comments about "wasting your time." An increase in exercise is not a waste of time. It may be that after a couple hours of rowing, more that day will add little. But going from zero to 10, or 20, and so on, benefits. A mix of long, slow and more intense is probably the best and combats so...

Places to row West Palm Beach
One of the locations with Model E is Evolution Wellness in Wellington by the Village Park. Incredibly rude. Manager was swearing at how he couldn't f'ing get anything done because of interruption. I asked about using One of the machines and was told I could buy one for 1000 dollars. Lots of rowing f...

Re: Weight training
I use front squats and pullups as a warmup, doing as many sets as I can with light weight up to 100 or more repetitions. Also do clubbell swings and indian club circles and figure 8s to warm up shoulders. For strength days I do basics: front or goblet squat, deadlift, row, press, bench press, cleans...
