Re: Model D with PM2+
Thanks Dougie, I was pretty sure that was the answer as I know you have to reconfigure the PM3 to work on the C. Thank you and hope you are well

Model D with PM2+
Just seen a concept2 model D1 with a PM2+ on it - where they ever sold with PM2+ and would it work? I thought the model D was released alongside the PM3 in 2003?

Re: 30r20 - fixed pace or fixed HR?
Hate to be the one to say it but the Concept 2 PM3 and PM4 are actually flawed when it comes to your "Average Rating" in the top line of the results on the monitor. It simply averages the numbers on the end of the split - does the same for HR so say you row 20, 19, 20, 19, 20, 21 the average is 19....

Re: 30r20 - fixed pace or fixed HR?
to get maximum benefit try and get within ten beats of your HRR cap within the first 3 minutes (after doing a few you'll work out where that is)

Re: 30r20 - fixed pace or fixed HR?
One of the benefits of doing regular HRR restricted 30r20's coupled with a good training plan is that you get to a point where your heart/lungs becomes so effective on the erg that you can do things like this - http://roadtosub6.blogspot.ie/2014/06/30r20-hrr-70-plus-2by1min-1r-video-to.html - 70% HR...

Re: 30r20 - fixed pace or fixed HR?
My PB on the 30r20 is 1:41.6 (8,855m) and 2k is 1:31.2 (6:04.6) but I'm probably light on the 2k side in true comparison - for me the only way to nail the 30r20's are to do them week in and week out and you'll soon no where the line between life and near death is lol remember it's not about the scor...

Re: 30r20 - fixed pace or fixed HR?
No problems - I don't pop on here very often. Also for drag I don't vary it for a 30r20 - it's all about the explosion
