@carlb
I just finished reading "Heart Rate Training", I thought it was good info. I had never realized how training in each HR zone helps you overall, I always just pushed myself to the next level. As for the rowing chapter, it has a fitness test, and then 3 training plans that are rowing specific.

Re: The year in review and goals for next year
Since I just started rowing my goals are fairly boring:
- Get a 50% or great ranking in all events
- Get below 210lbs, prefer to see numbers that start with a 1

Re: Weight Loss Programme questions
Just ordered the book, and I've looked at the pete plan but just wasn't sure about it, but I'm thinking about trying it or maybe the beginner version.

Weight Loss Programme questions
I'm 6'1" 265lbs looking to lose 65lbs, I'm doing it 6 days a week. Anyway I'm a few weeks in and have lost some, but I'm finding the second half of my weeks fairly easy. The second half is just a repeat of the first 3 workouts, what do you think about just doing the next week as my second half? Also...

Re: C2 Utility request
I think I saw that rowpro can add to the online logbook, does it break apart your workout?

C2 Utility request
Is there a way or could it be added, that the C2 util could add a workouts intervals or the full workout data. Example, I programmed my PM4 to do a 5 min warmup, rest, 15 min, rest, 15 min, rest, 5 min cool down. Could it be logged as either a 40 minute workout or as each interval or maybe as both l...

Re: ranking
I have been programming my workouts into the PM4, with warmup and cool down, I log every meter I row. I tried the C2 util but doesn't log the workouts any different, but it does make it a bunch easier. Thanks for that tip.

ranking
Just realized that I did a 30' this morning as a workout and looked at the rankings and found that I'm in the 70-75 percentile but didn't rank the pull. Is there a way to edit the logbook, I entered it as my full workout, 5' warm up and cool down included. Also when you guys go for a world ranking h...

Re: New to Rowing...Want to lose 15-20lbs...suggestions?
@corkster - I'm having the same problem of just wanting to scale up but I did take one recovery day and my workout the next day felt better. I'm doing the interactive program from the uk site, I'm doing 6 days a week and each week the second 3 workouts are just a repeat of the first 3. I was annoyed...

Re: Interactive Program
Previous days I've had more of the "oh dear god would can I keep going" for the last minute or 2. While today I never felt pushed, if was fairly easy. I think i will probably rework some parts.

Interactive Program
I'm do the interactive program from the uk site, 6 days a week. I just did session 4 in week one and its just a repeat of session 1. Each week the sessions 4-6 and just a repeat of session 1-3 that week. I'm wondering about filling session 4-6, so the week works more like a pyramid or moving up a tr...

That worked great, thanks for your help. Felt funny at first but I got into a good rhythm at it was fairly easy to maintain.
