Re: Alternate Handles?

That's right, the model D grip was a great upgrade (over the C's wood) for me, only $15 usd too! https://www2.concept2.com/VIA/viaImagePageIndex.jsp?row=18&pgName=viaListProducts.jsp&searchText=SPARE_PARTS_C&modifier=SPARE_PARTS_C&reqTitle=TITLE_VIAUSERDOCLIST&newWindow=Y https://www2.concept2.com/V...

Re: iPhone app (iPad too!), out of the box

The FAQ's now state it does work with the Ipad.
The iPad leans forward in the cradle and can rock if the c2 base moves....but it's nice to be able to use both.

iPhone app (iPad too!), out of the box

Just got my interface and gave it a go. Love it! I like to leave the PM3 on kCal/hr display....and now I can also see my speed (minutes/ 500m). Sending the workouts right to the logbook is the biggest plus, don't have to bring the laptop out each time to upload workout. Great being able to listen to...

Weekly Winner?

Hey, does anyone know what's up with the "weekly winner"? Looks like it hasn't been updated since July.
Also does anyone know how the member of the day is picked? I know the weekly winner has to have 10k m in per week.
I enjoy seeing who who, plus I'd love to get a t-shirt!
Thanks

Re: PM2 corrosion (photos)

Well, my PM2 started acting up again....so I upgraded to the PM3 and retrofit handle (to replace the wooden one).
What a difference that new handle made (and for only $15)!

It's like a new machine and like logging/ monitoring the data via the laptop.

Re: PM2 battery leakage

A new PM3 is so cheap if your in the USA and it is now a brillant monitor and worth the upgrade After all my cleaning/ reconnecting my PM2 it just started to go flaky again. Could make out the readout if held at angle...but figured it wasn't worth another effort. So decided to take Carls advice, ag...

Re: PM2 corrosion (photos)

Yes, I used a mircroscope/ digital camera...we have one at work.
Will use as is for now, but expect to have it open again for more cleaning and/or replace that 859....and add coating.
Thanks again for the help!

A small strand of...

Re: PM2 corrosion (photos)

Will try with vinegar next and keep you posted. Great advice.
I appreciate all of your help on this one (on previous posts too)! Very, very helpful.
If it doesn't work at least I know why.

PM2 corrosion (photos)

I just got mine out of storage, display not working. Read up on PM2 problems here and sure enough it was corrosion from the batteries on both sides of the board. Bad enough to ruin the contacts under key pad. Will try to clean the lcdisplay contacts next. Any one ever get theirs working again after ...
