Re: Should there be more drug testing in masters rowing?

to be fair i probably have more chance of getting drug tested at work than in any sport i have ever participated in. the gym i used (prior to arm issue) had a body builder there that from all accounts used to supply Steroids to other gym users. i say used to as in the previous 4 or 5 months he was n...

Re: Concerned about rowing as a grappler

one of the reasons i use the erg was to strengthen my back. when i start to get issues with my back in everyday activity it pretty much means that my back has reached a weak state due to my lifestyle. so i get back on the erg to strengthen it up.

Re: Bicep distal brachial tendon

one of the options was surgery but he (the Surgeon) was pretty vague about it. as in yes surgery is an option but there were no guarantee that it will be a good repair and it would still be weak and possibly fully tear in the future. so just taking it day by day and trying not to aggrevate it furthe...

Bicep distal brachial tendon

Well it's official. I have a partial tear in my bicep distal brachial tendon....
No rowing possibly forever. At best maybe 6 months and the possibility remains that I will tear it completely
Not in a good headspace at the moment

Re: Expectations!

my arm is getting worse. can barely carry anything with that arm now and am in constant pain pretty much 24/7 :x Practicing slow movements and low tension holds with no weights can be helpful. For example, lift your arms slowly, hold them overhead in an extended position, lower them slowly, relax a...
