My Son is down in Antarctica this winter and they have C2s down there but only with PM2s. if i had known that i could have let him take my fully refurbished PM3 down with him.Carl Watts wrote: ↑June 3rd, 2025, 7:37 pmIf you are still trying to run a PM2, its time to trade it in, they stopped making it in 2003.

Yes weight loss is getting high on my priority. I've hit a plateau at 120. Despite minimal eating and daily exercise.

Re: 2024 is winding down, 2025 is upon us - how did your year go?
My year started out pretty good with a goal to do another road marathon. Training was progressing quite well and the step up from a marathon to an ultra was already forming. Feb 2025 was to be my first ultra run. 50kms. However in May all my plans were shot down when I was diagnosed with severe oste...

Osteoarthritis
Back in May I was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in the L5 and S1 vertebrae. This manifests through my hips as significant pain and mobility issues. If I sit or lie for too long when I get up it takes about a dozen steps to free up my hips so I can walk normally. Dr initially thought I would h...

I use the Garmin HRM Dual. seems to do the job. with regards to the fit bit range of watches these are pretty much the lower end of smart fitness devices. all i seem to hear on other forums (particularly Running Forums) is ditch them in favour of Garmin which seem to have a very good reputation and ...

Re: Make use of the cold
i enjoy the cold. it doesnt really affect me. my family and friends all get annoyed when we are out and about in the wind and rain and cold through winter and i am still wearing shorts/T shirt and jandles. winter here sits in the below 10C range usually around 2 or 3C with high winds and rain. due t...

Great writeup. When I did my marathon walk I experienced all the emotions. Took 7 hrs 20. And I was wrecked physically and mentally so can understand. The joy of completion however is totally worth it. Awesome effort

Re: Matrix rowing machine v Concept 2
It's probably too late but you possibly could have bought one of the C2 that were replaced. I have mine in my man cave/office/storeroom and I have to step over it to get to my desk for work. Unless I stand it up in the corner which is an option
