Beats Solo 3 are the best I've found for working out. I can run, erg, etc and they don't move. I've had it a few times and it's pretty awful. Stretching & massages are very helpful for me. I step on a golf ball and roll it up and down the center of my foot. It's a great excuse to go get a massage as well. I also switched my shoes to extra wide which, I believe, has helped me fend it off more ...

I’ve added in a very small amount of jogging ~1mile after each rowing session over the last month or so. I’m not sure, but I think it’s helping me to rate up a bit. I’m currently doing a RowPro 2K Plan. In RowPro the base work between intervals (UT2 I believe) is at higher rating than I think most ...

That sucks. I hope you feel better soon. There's really nothing new to my post. I've injured my back a few times in the year and a half I've been on. Always been when doing sprints with higher DF. The first time I didn't warm up/stretch properly. After that, it wasn't a lack of warm-up/stretching......

Thanks for sharing. I notice his stroke isn't as long (leaning back) as some of the others. His motion almost looks effortless and not nearly as fast as he's going.

Ray, having a strong stroke is ofcourse a goal to strive for, but we have to be able to use that stroke. In the end its seldom strength that is the limiting factor. Aerobic fitness is. Update: after about 3 weeks of rowing at higher sr, it's really feeling more natural. I never thought rowing strapless for an hour @ 28spm @ 60% or 70% of HRR would be beneficial. Wow, was I wrong. For me it was about setting specific goals. I quit chewing tobacco on 12/12/17 and wanted to lose weight. I can't just "lose weight", so I set a goal... complete the Pete Plan for beginners. I did a 48 min 10k, so I set a goal to do a sub 40 min 10k in a year (I took a little over, but I got there)....
