Re: Forum Flyers

….and here was I thinking your 3 @2:07 were pretty good Jack - coulda/shoulda been doesn't really cut it with we old guys on the decline. 2 years is a long time. Managed to get Mel here in Sydney to do a pretty strong ctc to add to Dirk's strong one too - Liz sent hers to Mel to challenge her to do ...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Martin, how did you get your exact time for Low Pull? I would like to do that, but the shortest I can get the Pm5 to record anything is at least 20 seconds. Warm up well including a few series of max stokes. Then from a standing start go absolutely as hard as you can - the observed pace of the 5th ...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

After I wrote that I looked at some other people's and thought the same thing. I might have to give this a go soon - probably with higher DF as I normally never go above 130. I am not sure you have to go too much higher on the DF. It is more about technique and strength and how you connect the two....

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

A mix of stuff today, just to keep it interesting - 2ks, 1ks a 500 and a 100 test to see how fast I can pull. Managed to get 1:25 on the PM at times during the 100m so definitely improving as now way I could have done this a year ago. Alasdair - I would have thought your signature numbers would sug...

Re: Lightweight versus highweight data transmission

Hi Bokki there actually isn't a setting/adjustment for light weight and heavyweight on the PM5. A lightweight is <75kg and a heavy above that. When you enter the times in your C2 log you record whether you are lwt/hwt when you did the piece - the times/paces are not adjusted for weight. When compari...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Friday off Sat AM - a race day - third of 4 in a series organised by Rowing NSW. More a training day as not wanting to peak but finished at the higher end of expectations. Quite low key but good vibe and a diverse group - more young non OTE types from schools/rowing clubs/dragon boats and CF as well...
