Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Had my 2k TT today and I failed badly. The last two days I always felt nauseaus, had to force myself to eat enough, and slept uneasy. As I prepared for 1 week with tapering I nevertheless tried it as my legs felt great, so fresh like never before since I started rowing. WU felt OK, but still nauseo...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

This really close to when I did this for the first time last week. Very good result! I truly think you can get some good PBs on the 1K and 2K. I am going to try this one again and be a little more aggressive in the beginning. Thank you Keith, my interval sessions give me good confidence, Friday nex...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

Thank you very much guys! A bit of pressure is good, this make Friday more mandatory for me, and I don't want to disappoint you all   @ Keith: The 1' works really great for me atm, and the "fly and die" approach is hard but effective. @ Dino: The Austrian masters (for 36y and older) dista...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

Thank you Henry, it really works better to stay fast as long as I can and accept the fade. The first 30sec were a bit slower than possible (to be fit for Friday's 2k and not risking an injury), but much more fade than last PB. I'll try another one in a few weeks, then on the edge, the last 15sec wi...

Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

My thoughts. I would not aim for an exact time. Let it come the way it comes. Don,t be to confident, it will hurt, expect that, it never feels good, if it does you are not really trying. Don,t set the pm on average, but on pace alone. A few tenths here and there don,t matter. If you reach 1400m fee...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Weights and core stuff at lunchtime (incl massive 20kg squats   ...told you I was weedy) and Bodycombat session tonight. Back feels a little tight between the shoulder blades but nothing major. Don't care about the weights or how much others can lift, you'll see good improvements in short...
