Re: Skierg pb thread
First 1/2 marathon @ 1:48:42. Pacing wasn't great, I had more then I should have to drive the pace down the last 1/3, will definitely have to start faster next time, but pleased with my first effort!

Re: Using the skierg and trying to fir it in with on snow training
I think it's best used to supplement on-snow time. It's great in the off-season to maintain fitness, but still has it's uses in-season. Few folks have daily access to groomed trails and the Erg can be used on those days. But what is great and I haven't seen mentioned is it allows you to really dial ...

Where's My Data?
Did a workout today with the PM5 synced to ErgData on my android, same setup as always. Synced logbook afterwords. The workout appears in the LogBook, but the graph is missing and there's no link to download the .FIT file! I always download that and dump it into TrainingPeaks, but nothing today. Any...

Re: SkiErg 2 Handles
Handle hooks for the win! Those are great, hadn't seen those. The XC straps are offensively expensive purchased separately, I just have a closet full of old ski poles that I could pull a pair off of. FYI, they aren't hot at all, I use the same for roller skiing in the summer without any problems, so...

Re: SkiErg 2 Handles
For posterity, I used a X-fit strap on a cork grip. Links for anyone curious:

Re: SkiErg 2 Handles
Swapped out the stock handles for an old pair of swix wrist straps and had a very comfortable 10k skierg yesterday. For me at least, it was a significant improvement! The only downside is it makes it harder for my kid to use as the straps are much to large for her, so they just get in her way. So, i...

Re: SkiErg 2 Handles
The kind and fast-responding Concept2 help desk had a stock answer ready for me. Good Suggestion! Can't seem to attach an image of any size here for some reason, so here's a link to the image: https://ibb.co/Nm1D7nS
I'll likely give this a go tonight.

SkiErg 2 Handles
Purchased a Skierg a couple months ago when I injured my knee as I can use it sitting down (Which works great BTW!). However, for longer sessions, it starts to really suck holding onto the handles, have people figured how to put regular nordic handles on the machine so I'm pulling against straps ins...
