Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

That's very good going - if we were on the water you would be best part of 2k further ahead than me - time to stop at river-side pub for a drink, sit in the sunshine and get back in before I even arrived B) ...another 12k is going to be a walk in the park. Congrats on the 6k PB too. thanks Di...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

https://i.postimg.cc/3wJGYTR6/20200409-082717.jpg I'm happy with this one. No wobbles and no real cardiac drift (peaks only happened at end of split and it was very steady at 134/35 from 10k onwards). Atm this is probably a bit slower than my Goldilocks pace and I just need to make some more adapta...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Was supposed to be the weekly long row today, but still suffering from gardening/too much digging at the weekend..! So split up the HM to give my back a rest and a stretch between pieces: 2 x 10k + a 1097m on the end :) The bit on the end was feeling quite good still... but had run out of time as ne...

Re: How to create private group of training partners?

The only way other way I know of is to create an affiliation. This is separate to a team. You can belong to both a team and an affiliation. To create a new affiliation just email concept2. On your logbook profile just select the affiliation once created. This will show everyone in the affiliation an...

7310m at 2:08.5.

Bit self-indulgent to key in this particular distance, so I can see this on my logbook:

Now I need to get back to some sort of plan to attack my 2020 goals.
it's arrived then! :D
Congrats on 2mm for the season.

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Some outrageous times being posted recently!

For me today:
1 hour walk this morning
2 hours digging in the garden this afternoon
2 x 5k + 1 x 2k this evening - 2:00 average pace for each, but rowed as negative splits, starting 2:05 and winding up gradually throughout

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

The stars finally lined up to do my first 50k in nearly 18 months... (stuck at home, lousy weather, good night's rest, body fueled up, etc...) 50,000m / 3:57:47.5 / 2:22.6 / DF 110 / r21 / SPI 5.76 / 121w / 3258 calories (adjusted for my weight) The session target was sub 4 hour total time with 6 m...

Just ordered a model D. Rather astonishingly, concept2 Australia still have some stock.

Very exciting, if a somewhat unprepared for dent in the wallet.
Nice one max!!! You'll be able to knock off that last 15k now and some!!! :D

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Nice going, Dino! Good to get that one behind you. Thanks yes - sure is... after you did your 27k I couldn't wimp out! I decided on 2/3 the distance as looking back at my log I did this last year so it gave me a comparison. When it was starting to bite at the end I almost called it a day at HM dist...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Did the long one this evening had been promising myself to do this month... and a deeply unpleasant experience it was :( Had hoped to average 2:07 but in the end settled for sub-2hr (just!) as the last 10 was a struggle. About the only thing that didn't hurt was my backside!! 2/3 marathon: Tim...

Re: How to create private group of training partners?

I think you can just do it all online through the logbook, i.e. create your own Team and manage it. You can make it a closed team so you control membership. https://log.concept2.com/challenges/help/team-admin Concept2 have also announced a new Spring VIII's challenge for teams that might be on inter...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Completed a 27km row that I had a HD on last week. Did it today as a HM followed by a 6k. Took a bit of a walk and stretch after the HM so the time looks dreadful, but I just needed to get this distance behind me. Well done :) How are you feeling about it.. and doing another ~1 hour on top of that?...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Which photo app are you using? That's better quality than the one I use. First time trying to upload pics...postings.org....I thought it's the same one you used. I use OneDrive for embedding a photo in posts. No annoying ads when you click on the pictures and you keep control of the photos as well....

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

https://i.postimg.cc/YvsM4kSG/20200326-075119.jpg As yesterday felt so good I thought I'd do it again. I picked a random pace and tried to stick to it. Originally intended to go at r22 but I soon gave up on caring about stroke rate and just settled into a groove. HR crept up a bit more that I liked...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Great HM Stu - that's one way to start the day! :D That's my (very) stretch target... at some point I'd like to do a 2:00/500 avg HM. Thanks Dino. Keep on chipping away as it does need constant attention to maintain the longer distances. I notably struggle with my 10 miler if I don't do one for a f...
