Re: New Personal Best! Brag About That New Pb!

I've not done any 2k training in a while... so in line with how my training usually benefits the opposite of what I think I'm training for, the 2k obviously had to go. The softest of my PBs, but one that was scaring the bejaysus out of me. 1st flat out 2k since June 2019. Warm up: 5k at 2:16 2x30" ...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

Not on the erg for a couple of days. My first competitive row (scull) for over 28 years today. Only a time trial over 1000m, so like a mini head race. All the tech things I've been working on over recent weeks to fix my dubious technique went out the window. It was mainly kids and juniors out there...

Re: Problem with USB-key

I use a Sandisk Cruzer Blade 16GB USB2

I have a PM5 with the older firmware and intialized it on this PM5. I can take it to the gym and plug it into a PM5 that has the newest firmware and it works OK on both.

https://i.postimg.cc/v1djczSC/IMG-20201017-085532-718.jpg PB by 15 seconds, and my previously longest standing PB (Dec 2017), only by three days though as I did my 100k then, and as you may know, was all part of the reason why the 100k was truly horrific. I did need to get it done, as it was starti...

Re: Interactive virtual software compatible with C2?

Despite Zwift not offering rowing, you can still connect your Concept2 rower and row as a cyclist. I have been rowing on Zwift for the last few months and there are quite a few people who do. Despite what you might think, it actually works quite well. It depends what you want to get out of it. If yo...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

had the erg on the balcony, a bit warm, so HR was elevated and I was sweating a ton. a 3-liter evening.... 1:28:05.0 21,014m 2:05.7 176 905 19 124 ..... Nice session :) Was that a conscious decision to back off after the hour? You should dial in 21097 next time (HM) - you were only 83m off! My legs...

Re: What Training Have You Done Today?

12K STRAPLESS today - easy pace (2:05 and 20 SPM) Haven't done a strapless session forever, felt really weird at first but eventually found a groove and it was fine. I did notice to keep feet planted I had basically no lean back at all. Nice one Keith! I find going back to 11 o'clock to be comforta...

Re: 50Plus - New Team

Its done... just added my final meters. I am sure we will go over 8 million... only ~23k off it at the moment. 8 million meters in 31 days. That means as a team we have rowed over 10k for every hour of the challenge! We are still in second place on meters rowed in the 21-50 team size but its very cl...
