Re: Which heart rate monitor
I’ve been using the Polar H10 since January 7, 2019. I have 772 workouts logged logged on the RowErg with it and it has functioned flawlessly. I change out the battery every 6 months and I throw the strap in the washing machine every so often. I purchased another strap to keep as a spare just in cas...

Re: Good way to connect HR to PM5
Not sure about "the best"...but I can tell you what I do which has been 99.9% reliable over the last 5 years. This is for my home C2 - it may not be the same for a multi use gym machine. On the first occasion: First connect Ergdata to the PM5 - this uses Bluetooth Then connect your HR strap using w...

Re: Packing (and shipping) modelD
Maybe sell your Model D in Ireland and purchase another one once you get to Italy? The difference between selling it and purchasing new at your destination versus shipping might be kind of a wash in the end.
Shipping seems like it would be relatively expensive from Ireland to Italy.

Re: Chaffing
Yeah, the raw bit is the upper crack (sorry) and the tailbone area. I had the same issue with the OEM seat when I first picked up the rower a couple of years ago. I would get a small sore at the base of my tailbone and “upper crack” as you would say. The sore was smaller than a dime and would leave...

Re: Holly's journey
Hi Holly: Congratulations on losing 14 pounds! After reading your story, here’s my $.02. . . I’m sure you already know that smoking is something that you’re going to have to drop. No matter how much you think you enjoy it or how relaxing it might be for you, that’s just the nicotine talking. Have yo...

Re: Pete Plan Thread
I’ve been doing the BPP since the beginning of the year and have a quick question for you guys. Within the next four months, I’ll need to go on a few trips overseas ranging from a week to two weeks long. I won’t have access to a rower and probably very little time for any cardio in general. The ques...

Also, I appreciate Mitchel, Ray, Stu, and Hobbit for answering my questions. Thanks again! There are a bunch of core contributors here that are extremely knowledgeable t...

Re: Pete Plan Thread
Hello, I’ve owned a C2 for a week now so I’m brand new to this and rowing in general. I’m following the BPP and am trying to get up to speed on the acronyms on the forum. I’ve made it to about page 32 of this thread and have a quick question. It looks like there are steady state distance workouts as...
