Sounds like simple overtraining to me. I think you need to make sure you are not pushing those endurance sessions too much

Been building back up through the beginner Pete Plan after a couple of years of slacking. Did my first 10k in a long time, so quite pleased with a 41:39.3 at 22.

Long way off getting back under 1:55 pace!

Some interesting comments in his interviews and the commentary about how he has lost his power but one of the best on endurance. I suspect his 2K would be time would be fairly good, but his pace wouldn't drop off much on the longer pieces. Funny to see how focussed he was waiting for the start. I'm ...

Advice I've always been given is that it doesn't really matter, and do the one you dislike first!
