Thanks again! 1st attempt....started well....got to 3% then, dis-connected as before. 2nd attempt....progressed the update to 100% :D and the new Rev. is shown on the ID page. Next on the list....to remove all traces of previous workouts......removing batteries overnight appears to be one method :?:...

PM3 Update Problem....Utilty 'Times out' and dis-connects!

Trying to update PM3 using utility. Have installed/run utility...which asks me to connect the PM. I connect said PM and then select the update option. After a couple of seconds...the green connection window (Top Right) tells me that nothing is connected....and after a couple of minutes I get a time-...

Went ahead an bought the model C that I mentioned. New sprocket, chain, bungees, full seat/rollers, foot restraints/straps, powder coated flywheel cage come to mind! A few 'cosmetic' bits to find.....better feet....might go for a moulded handle...for starters. So....where is best place to order spar...

Forgot to say...it's £500....serviced...with possible £200 of new parts (So I'm told!! :) )

What does anyone think of that price??

Going to take a look tomorrow....have asked for pics a little while ago...but nothing yet.
Not sure of overall metres.....but suppose that the PM3 wasn't the original monitor??

Hi Folks ....gym closed...really feel like I'm fading here in the Leeds/UK. Looking at 2nd hand rowers....can't stop laughing at how many are available on Ebay (UK) for up to twice new price! Have the chance of a realistically priced model C....serviced/some new parts....(with PM3) ....but concerned...

I'd spotted the Pete Plan....seems to move on (and upwards!!) very quickly!
Suspect that any improvement I make might be much more gradual.... :)

My gym also has a couple of SkiErgs....so hoping to introduce a bit of that too!

Thanks jamesg ....I seem to have a natural stroke rate of 23......and the 5K tends to be pretty consistent in this respect...with the later splits being up to 28 Often....I peer to the rower either side of me.....stroke rate can be anything between 30 and 40....but I'm traveling faster!! What do you...

Hi Folks ....newby here....looking for some ideas how to get something worthwhile from my gym rowing. 5' 10" and overweight (180 Lbs....should be 165 to 170 I think!) Tend to row alone...so no possibility of group activity. 5000m is around 22m 30s for me at the moment.... Not looking to achieve anyt...
