Beats by Dre have worked really well for me. No I phi be connectivity issues. No falling out. They have a rubber piece that goes over the ear

Lateral/plantar foot pain
Does anyone get pain on the lateral/bottom side of the mid foot on one or both feet when rowing? I've noticed it more when I use my nike metcons so I would use the reebok crossfit shoes, but today it was hurting bad enough I had to stop. It hurt while I was still at the gym trying to do other things...

8x1000m, 1:1 work/rest. goal 1:45-1:50/500m pace. brutal, not fully recovered from night shifts earlier in the week or about 6 hrs of yard work on Tues.

Hola
Does anyone have any recovery practices they swear by? The book Good to Go seems to suggest that sleep and good nutrition are the only things that work or are backed by data. I'm starting to try contrast showers and trying to do more foam rolling. Not sure I notice a difference though.

My apple watch and polar strap show very similar HR, quite different calorie count. I got a Whoop wrist strap as well that is usually pretty off though

Did a 55 min steady state. 13.1K for avg pace of 2:05.8. Stroke rate 20. Any guidance what pace I should shoot for on long rows if my current 2K best is 7:01 min? I'm 37, 6 feet tall, and 215 lbs.
