Hi Winnie, Re. your mention of hurting elbows, I agree with jamesg. Treat the arms as pieces of rope and that way avoid using them too soon. If you can feel the start of the catch as a pull in your shoulders, you're ok. If you don't, then it's your poor elbows that take the brunt. And they usually ...

Was going to train tonight - honest - but had to evacuate due to a bushfire burning out of control and too close for comfort. I think that's probably an okay excuse! This was a pretty horrid session but worthwhile 6x250m off 15 seconds rest. 3 sets and 5 mins rest between sets.
