Re: Question on 1,000m Time
You mentioned you had/have covid? STOP right there. Please put yourself on hold for the moment. The only thing you should exercise is patience. Tomorrow is another day. Did you test positive? How long ago? If positive, did you perform another test and was it negative? If it was a positive test and y...

Re: Brand new SkiErg..clunk noise on double/single poling
Keef and NoWatts, have you noticed a difference in performance and smoothness with the modification? The feeling on the handles is a tiny little bit more direct, the slack from lifting the axis the 1-2mm before the spools catch it is gone. So is the clunknoise gone. I also had a harmless vibration ...

Re: Brand new SkiErg..clunk noise on double/single poling
Today i dismantled the frontside of the flywheelcover and there it is. I have only a loose frontside bearing and not so extreme like on yours, but it’s loose. Backside bearing is tight. Turn volume up to hear the clunk-sound: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=BNv5ckOD0PE C3, thank you ...

Re: Remove round fan plate in front of FlyWheel, makes workout intense.
Has anyone removed the round fan plate in front of the flywheel? I did it last week, now the workout is more challenging. I'm on SkiErg for 1 hour a day, and the Rower 1 hour a day. Waiting for my BikeErg to arrive so I can use that too. I start with the hardest first, SkiErg. "No pain , no gain. G...

Re: How well does a SkiErg complement the rower and elliptical?
Was contemplating adding another torture device to my basement gym. I have a Model D with PM3, and a nice higher end Precor elliptical. I like the rower for HIIT and the elliptical for LISS when I'm just not feeling it. Am I going to see big differences in how the SkiErg hits me vs the rower? or am...

Re: SkiErg noise level compared to Model D Rower
Greetings to all forum users. I'm Mario from Italy, currently in Lockdown, but thanks to this forced quarantine fortunately the spread of the virus is decreasing significantly. I am a happy owner of a Concept 2 model D rowing machine, very happy about it. I would like to buy a SkiErg to further enh...

Re: Brand new SkiErg..clunk noise is design fault
The clunk is definitely the result of the two bearings (PN1315), front and rear moving within their metal chassis cups. The 12mm bearings (PN1315) are first mounted in a hard 'neoprene' cup (PN1013), this in turn is then mounted in the metal cups welded to the chassis front and rear. To prevent thi...
