Re: Forum Flyers
In the same vein, the Nonathon is now open for the new season, as is the C2 rankings. Both have been great motivators for me over the years, and both free for us to use as the CTC is. https://www.nonathlon.com/ranking.php https://log.concept2.com/rankings Have at it! They must be pretty good motiva...

Re: Forum Flyers
I gave another try at the April CTC today - improved by 21 m - so happy with that. Even convinced my husband (Ed) to give it a try. I think he will be joining us for future CTC's. (The Diamonds had been trying to recruit him, but I told him they did not need any more members, in my opinion.) Still o...

Re: Forum Flyers
I am confused why we have not floated 4 boats in the March CTC challenge. We have 3 boats afloat and 2 partial boats. In one of the partial boats, we are just missing the lightweight. In the other partial boat we have a single female rower. I am a lightweight sitting in an unrestricted seat in the ...

Re: Forum Flyers
Happy March to all the Forum Flyers out there! Just a reminder that today is the start of the Team World Erg Challenge. We only have 9 people signed up so far. If you are doing the individual Mud Season Madness Challenge and planning to do the individual April Fools Challenge, you will get lots of m...

Re: Forum Flyers
Happy Valentine's Day folks! Today is the Carole McNally Memorial Row (1402 m) on the CTC site. I believe it is one-day only so please give this piece a little try today if you have a chance. Meerkats - I see you must have improved your 300 m time a bit - but it was posted onto the Carole McNally ro...

Re: Forum Flyers
Just noticed we only need one lwt to float boat 3! Anyone? Feb is just a single 300m so maybe more entries. All the best to everyone. Lindsay - Your plea to the lightweights must have worked as we ended up with 4 boats floating and a lightweight to spare in a boat 5 which was left on the dock. It's...

Re: Forum Flyers
Happy 2025 Folks! There is still one week left to add meters for the January Virtual Team Challenge. We are at 3,300,000 (with 10% coming from Peter Brooks alone - great effort Pete!) Can we get to 5 million by the end of the challenge? Let's go!! I just hit that number for my lifetime total - so pr...

First training session in three weeks due to severe cold, christmas holiday, etc Where is my fitness gone? Got the CTC in today. I thought I could easily catch Sabrina. Well the tank was empty, HR went through the roof and I missed her by one meter  Happy New Year to everyone around the world....

Re: Forum Flyers
I am back. I was dealing with a medical issue for most of 2024 that prevented me from doing any rigorous exercise. But that has recently been sorted out. So now slowly ramping up my exercise and was able to post a time in this month's CTC competition (albeit slow). You know you have been away for f...

We managed to get one more boat floating - the last remaining boat on the dock has four seats filled - down to needing 1 more lightweight entry.

Re: Forum Flyers
Just snuuck in the CTC, shingle flare made any thought of rowing for a couple of weeks out of the question. Looking forward to a more productive JUly! Thanks for floating Boat V - and best wishes on the recovery from the shingles. I hear it can be quite nasty - and yet another reminder that I reall...

Re: Forum Flyers
Yes Anna we have the pleasure of choosing the next CTC! Normally we take a few suggestions and maybe a vote. We should try not to be too close to some recent ones. Back in the day FF were the sprint kings and queens and won/top3 a couple outright. A June theme could 6x 240m or a straight 6240? BTW ...

Re: Forum Flyers
Welcome to a New Season of Indoor Rowing! We already have one boat floating in the May CTC - and, we have the pick for June! Any suggestions? I was all excited to start entering times for the 2025 Nonathlon. After several odd messages in trying to register, I realized that they don't have the regist...
