Re: Real Time Loop and Fixed distance?
I couldn’t get both a Real Time Loop and a fixed distance row. I would also love for this to be a feature. I think it should be possible if enough of us pester the developers to work on it. I would really like to see re-row a previous workout and fixed distance or time. Why does the PM5 need to be ...

Re: What do I need to know before buying used?
For people of the future who may stumble upon this thread while searching for a deal on a C2 rower... Definitely check that battery compartment. Eventually the rubber band may need replacement or adjustment. This band retracts the chain on the recovery. I have adjusted the band in my machine myself....

Re: Real time Loop Freezing
Hello Jan, If you have a USB drive plugged into the PM5 it will always save your workout; no matter what happens to the app. I see the loop freeze periodically also. I am lucky enough to have my own machine at home. When the podcast or video I am streaming during a long workout buffers, or loads an ...

Re: Anyone want to play a silly Game February 2021?
I had to give up on my own challenge unfortunately. (back probs) I hope to try this game again someday. I need to market it better though...
Another thought is a 'Poker Run'. But how can that be organized virtually? If anyone in the future stumbles onto this comment, please add your ideas.

Re: Anyone want to play a silly Game February 2021?
I wonder if anyone else has seen this game? I rowed a ridiculous and very challenging interval today. It was 1000+100+500+200+1000+200+2000 meters for 5000 total. I'll call that change for a dollar! In the rest periods I alternated push-ups, squats, pikes, and planks. No counting, just what I could ...

Anyone want to play a silly Game February 2021?
I have a fun idea for an 'unofficial' fun game we can play in February 2021. Everyone loves noodles! So earn your bowl of RAMEN noodles by accomplishing these five miniature challenges. Each tricky part of the game earns one of five letters. We can post a scoreboard on the forum Mid-Month, or logboo...

Re: 2021 World Rowing Virtual Indoor Championships.
Bill, I have been reading about this event, and I'm confused about how to qualify for the 'Virtual' event. There is one statement on the World Rowing website about a "Maximum of 2" rowers per country may move to the finals. I can't tell if that applies to virtual entries on privately owned machines....

Re: Introduce yourself
I survived a severe motorcycle accident in 2007. Ironically, it happened when I wasn't even moving. Years later I struggle with constant pain as my body slowly fuses vertebrae, and compresses nerves. Rowing for me is a fantastic cardio exercise that I can 'almost always' do. Rowing is the go-to when...

Re: mid back fatique
This is an old but good question. I like all the advice I read above, but my answer was a little different. Stretch, and form are never bad suggestions... I suffer some arthritis that limits my spinal mobility. This makes me very sensitive to exercise with impact. My breakthrough was finding a drag ...
