Update: I got in touch with Concept2 and they got back to say they have been able to replicate the issue of splits not being recorded as usual and they are working on a fix.
Thank you for reporting that.

Re: ErgData scrunched my intervals.

I did the CTC at 1.6Km above sea-level (that was hard in Jo'burg) and Ergdata did the exact same thing to me. Unfortunately I'm now 8000Km away from that PM5 so I can't see what firmware version it's got or get a photo of the results of the two rows (first one I bailed after the first warm-up interv...

Some bike shops (I've seen the device at shops that are Specialized dealers) can do this.
Is that going to work "on-the-water"? You're writing in an OTW thread not a bike-erg thread.

Re: Concept2 DYNO - Wanted

I have a strong feeling that shipping a heavy dyno between the USA and Ireland could have quite a high price.

Thank you - I was unaware that the PM5 could go direct to mains. I'll have a look at that.

So before I blow it all up .......does it go phone charger to the USB slot on the PM5 (ie I'll need a usb to usb cable) ?
You need a USB-A to USB-B printer cable.

Since you're in the USA - bite the bullet, pull $180 out of your pocket and buy a new PM5.

Re: Batteries need replacing or something else?

Thanks. I've been tempted to open the battery cover but it isn't my machine and the gym staff desk is right in front of the C2. I will pass on the info about the replacement battery cover and the firmware update. For the price of a pair of D-cells you're going to get a better rowing experience plus...

Re: Model C PM3 Doesn't Register Rowing

Have you tried the obvious fix?

https://www.concept2.com/service/monito ... stuck-zero

Because in 99.9% of ALL stuck on zero reports on here that's the reason. The mechanical / electrical failures are exceedingly rare.

It needs a phone charger wall-wart. 240V would kill it dead (and it may kill you and it may even burn your house down).
