Had an encouraging 2K row last night.

Have no idea how I quoted myself - old age?
It's more likely to be fundamental abuse of [quote] & [/quote] tags.

Hi Allen,

I have the same problem.
Have you solved the problem?
So you're saying you have a HTC One S with Android 4.1.1 and a PM3 with an OTG adapter for your phone and a USB-A to USB-B cable.

If not, then please start a new thread rather than a #MeToo posting on this thread.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Some teams allow self selection. Some have a forum thread on here, some require you to belong to the Faceborg. If you can't find a team there's the independents. I can 100% guarantee that Forum Flyers will welcome you to their team as soon as they see your post. To reset a password I need to know wh...

Have you asked Concept2 what can be done? They're usually very responsive to customer's requests. Pick up the phone.

Re: PM2 - help diagnosing electronics

I think you should spend $180 on a PM5 rather than spending the time that you're wasting trying to beat a corpse into life.

If time is money then the intensive care your PM2 needs will cost more than $180 (if it hasn't done so already).

Re: C2 DYNO to trade for a BikeErg or SkiErg

So you want to trade something that's worth $150 for something with a retail price of $770 (Skierg) or $990 (Bikeerg).

Sell the dyno on eBay or Craigslist. Add some extra funds and buy your new ergo.

Re: Plastic ring on Sprocket broken

Since you're in the UK call C2UK on 0115 934 0140. In Europe (and the rudderless, ungovernable UK for, at least, this month and next) you get a two year warranty.

Re: Starting with new rower & PM5 not turning on when I start rowing

Try a factory reset. Don't forget to check the product ID page after that's done to be sure it's still configured for your rower model. The factory reset may not reset lifetime metres.

Re: ErgData fine during use then fails to record data

Update the PM5 firmware, update your version of Ergdata. If you're doing "Just row" workouts you must ALWAYS press the [BACK] button when you're done or the PM5 won't record it.

If it still fails write an email to rowing@concept2.com with your symptoms.

I think what Henry is alluding to is that we don't get people like Benton or Shaun posting. What we have to ask ourselves is why did they and why don't they now?
One simple answer: FACEBOOK.

Re: New to ERG/rowing. How does this 10,000m look?

At your height and age you should be easily under 40 minutes and over 8K for 30 minutes. So you're not using your legs enough. Comments like this to a new rower on this forum only serve to denigrate and demoralize novices who come here for advice. The fact that it comes from one of our administrato...
