Re: PM5 Feature Request - Wireless default on

If it works for you, fill your boots.

The reason they don't recommend it is that some USB sticks can be a significant battery drain. Running BTLE is also a battery drain.

Since Tijmen hasn't visited the forum since Sat 16 Jun 2018, 15:42 you may do better by posting an issue on Github at: https://github.com/tijmenvangulik/ErgometerJS/issues

Re: Effective capacity of USB memory

When it's the difference between 67% and 98% you may want to worry. Until that point arrives does it really matter?

Re: PM update

Concept2 own this forum so they can set the rules.

You wouldn't post about a Jeep Cherokee being better than a Ford Kuga on a Ford forum without expecting to launch a flame war.

Re: PM update

I imagine that a large part of the reason the core components don't change is for reproducibility. When you are dealing with maintaining records over time it gets harder with each major change. That doesn't pertain to user friendliness but we do see advances in that area with ErgData and the like t...

(If I'm allowed, I will later post an account of how Concept 2 dealt with the launch of the Oartec "Slider", the only real competitive threat that C2 has encountered in its history.) You're not allowed. Also, if you fail to follow the normal quoting conventions of this forum you WILL be banned. You...

Use a roller skate if your plastered leg needs to move.
Or switch to a regular ergo on sliders or a dynamic rower (the ergo moves under the rower, you stay, mostly, in the same place).

Re: body gives up but brain wants to keep going

read a lot of reviews saying the ergdata app is useless There's a bucket load of BS published on the internet. Ergdata on Android is a good enhancement over the raw numbers you get from a disconnected PM5. There's no reason not to try it and form your own opinion rather than trusting the bucket of ...

Re: Effective capacity of USB memory

There's free space and there's formatted space and they're not the same. There's also gigabytes (GB == x * 10^9) and gibibytes (GiB == x * 2^30) which are close but not the same. Memory makers will use 4GB (4 * 10^9 - small device labelled as bigger), computer scientists will use 4GiB (4 * 2^30 - an...
