Re: Is my rower light grey or light blue?

That's a model D with PM3 so it's light grey. The serial date code tells us it was made on 19th April 2012.

Re: Pete Plan Thread

Oh please tell us, Doug.
Please trim the quotes to avoid thread clutter. Be careful to get the [quote] and [/quote] tags to match up if you're trimming quotes.
Do you see those funky italics tags hidden in the [qu ote]...

Re: PM2 monitors - successors

The PM2 was fitted as standard on a Model C from 1995 to 2003. The PM2+ was fitted as an option on a Model C from 1998 to 2003. There is no firmware on a PM2 / PM2+ it's all done with a FPGA. The PM3 launched in 2003 with the Model D and could be retrofitted to the Model C (with a new monitor arm or...

Re: Pete Plan Thread / Day 1

So be aware of where to edit the content of reactions. Th logic is: 1. "
" #START 2. the content (which might of course include others quotes which also have start and end markers 3. "[/quote"] #END And what helps if you are uncertain is to first use the preview button. ――――――...

Re: 100m MAX: first few strokes

2. During my PB, first stroke was only 1:37.8, second was 1:19.4 and third was 1:06.0. So potentially a bit to gain for me on the first stroke. Peak split was 1:05.5, max drag and SR of 66. You won't gain a microsecond on the first stroke - it's due to the way the PM3/PM4/PM5 works. The PM3/PM4/PM5...

Re: Model E PM4

About 6 inches and the difference between a Hummer and a Land Rover in terms of construction.
They row identically, as long as you don't suffer from vertigo on the Model E.

You will want to buy a new PM5 and sell the PM4 on eBay.

Re: Metrownome

You should be able to hack https://github.com/sastraxi/pi-metronome into something similar. Use it with the https://github.com/wemakewaves/PyRow package and you could even get the SPM value from your RPi to control when the metronome starts and stops automagically. There's also a fully-fledged forum...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Hi Glenn,

Which of the two

GlennUK, Sub 7, 40-49 (hasn't logged a result since 2014-02-04 19:36:55)
GlennUk1961, Sub 7, 50-59 (hasn't rowed a challenge)

would you like changed? Why do you have two IDs?

Regards, Dougie

Press the [MENU] button four times and your PM5 will sleep (unless there's a powered USB connection).

Re: Stroke count is misreported in LogBook

I strongly suspect that the problem with the PM5's incorrectly reporting the Total Stroke Count is in the hardware. I think this because both Ergdata and the PM5's Firmware are up to date, and because neither has been updated recently, and because Ergdata has been accurately reporting Total Stroke ...

With a USB Y-cable you can charge both the phone and the PM4. USB has a common GND & 5V.

They are not available from Concept website
Then you're unlikely to get a pair until they are.
