That’s a lot of rowing for some crunchy nut cornflakes?? Did you know that ahead of time?
Yes, the plan was 300K per machine and crunchy nut cornflakes when folks got hungry, tired or bored.

Re: Summer Solstice 2019

GOOD MORNING, IT TOOK ME AWHILE TO POST THIS BUT I COMPLETED A 115,200 METER ROW ON JUNE 21ST TO BENEFIT THE ALZHEIMERS ASSOCIATION AS PART OF THEIR NATIONAL THE LONGEST DAY CAMPAIGN. IT TOOK JUST UNDER 16 HOURS BUT I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN ROWING 7,200 EVERY HOUR OF THE DAY. I KEPT A PRETTY CONSISTENT ...

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Curious, do we know what the July challenge will be yet? Even more curiously I was just about to post that same question. If DLC Gidea Park don't shout out by Sunday it will be a straight simple unrestricted 2K. On the 13th of June Joe Keating posted this on the CTC fb page; ''DLC Gidea Park have l...

Re: With bolts and not frame quick release?

The original framelock was introduced in 1993 (model C).
It got upgraded (and easier to use) in 2006 (model D2).

Nothing has been bolted since the model B.

Re: “Concept2 isn't as good since it split up.”

If you mean Indoor Sport Services vs Concept2 UK. Then it does appear that ISS have lost the plot.

C2UK is still as good as ever and more tightly bonded to the mothership in Vermont, USA.

So you need to be more precise with what you're describing.

Re: 21000m challenge wiped out by PM5

1. Upgrade the firmware on your PM5.
2. Upgrade Ergdata on your phone.
3. Put down the lost workout to experience.

Ergdata did it to me in South Africa where it mushed a set of intervals.

Re: Apple Watch Calories vs. PM5 Calories

Both numbers are mostly meaningless.

C2 calories work if you burn 300 doing nothing, weigh 80Kg and are 25% efficient turning calories into work.

Most folk won't match that model.

Re: MHR question

Using that formula I get 179 for max but the max I see on the PM5 when using my heart strap is 188. Using any formula is a complete waste of time and effort. 220-age is one of the most flawed pieces of pseudo-science ever seen. The sample size was a small number of trained athletes. https://www.res...

Re: Firmware files not found at selected path

Open your email client. Write an email to rowing@concept2.com. They won't see this in this backwater of the forum.

Then download the latest firmware and install it on your PM5.

Then download Ergdata onto your phone.
