Re: ErgData APK For Android without Play Store

Ask Concept2 directly. They're OK with the odd email to info@concept2.com.

Re: PM5 questions

The PM5 can save your HR belt details if you insert a USB stick. Otherwise you'll have to connect your HR belt everytime. I don't recommend using a USB stick. What I do recommend is using Ergdata and using that to record your workouts. The firmware versions depend on your hardware version. Take a lo...

Re: What model rower is this?

That's a model B with a PM1. So dates from 1986 (production ended in 1993 but yours is an early model with the original PM1).

Oh, probably 46691 replies in a single thread is too much to handle
It's actually the 16777215 views. That's one less than 2^24.

Re: Which Concept2 rower is this?

It's hard to post images on this forum. I assume the OP wasn't able to get it to work. Why? Post the image on https://imgur.com and it gives you the phpbb2 code to use on here. For small images they can be posted on here directly. The only rule is that the image url must end with *.gif, *.jpeg, *.j...

Re: App connected but don't sync data

I don't want to send them another email if they're already aware of this issue. I think everyone who's had a sync failure should report it, that way the Concept2 folks will know how widely ranging the problem is. If just one person reports it they'll assume it's not widespread and will reduce the p...

That entry is marked as private. So you'll need to unlock it or grab a screen shot.

Re: 2K strategy - what needs improving?

Also, why do people use the term and number for drag factor rather than saying the number the the side of the machine? The drag factor is the number the PM5 uses when it calculate your score. It's a measurement of damping taken by counting the revolutions over time. That number takes into account t...

Re: PM5 dead after some time sitting

Have you tried powering it with a USB-B printer cable?
Plug the USB-A end into your laptop, plug the USB-B end into the bottom of the PM5.

Indeed. A running calc gave me 33. I don't treat any of this seriously: if it's a flattering number I'll take it thank you very much, if not then I won't!
So some careful use of https://www.random.org/integers/ would have the same effect.

Surely there must be a way to set the PM5 to more than 50km?
There is. You can set intervals with no rest time.

Is there a forum (this one or any other) where I can post a video of me rowing showing my usual form, and get constructive feedback?
Start a new thread here: https://c2forum.com/viewforum.php?f=3 get a side-on view of your rowing. Post it with details of the pace/stroke rate.

When was the last race you had in Basingstoke Dougie?
It was before ISS took over from Concept2 UK. I think it was 2008 when I ran the last race.
