Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Not sure what I have done wrong....? Make sure you're entering it with upper and lower case as it's case sensitive. If that doesn't work then try a password of : password as the quirky system sometimes records that. Else you'll need to wait until the weekend when I'm back in the UK from this Caribb...

Morro9, Have you solved it yet? Haven't been riding in 2 months now because of it.
The OP hasn't been on the forum since September.

Contact Concept2 directly for your problem, their customer service dept. will solve it.

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

For the CTC we should probably think about having 2 to 3 people trusted enough to manage the database, just so we have some continuity for times when Dougie isn't available. Something to discuss when he's back. You'll need to speak to Daren Chandisingh (I usually use @wwwicked on Twitter for that),...

Re: Do The Seat Rollers Need Lubricating?

I've been taking a slightly damp paper towel and wiping down the rail (including underneath) and pushing it up against each of the seat rollers while moving the seat with my hand to clean each of them. That's it. That's all that's needed except you may need to concentrate of getting the ground on d...

One of the displays on a PM3 was very burned on, had a funny artifact. Is changing display high risk on a PM3? Never opened a pm3/4/5 other than battery compartment.
It's not difficult to replace the LCD with a PM3 (assuming you can source a replacement).

Re: Cross Team Challenge - Discussion Thread

Thanks for fixing this, Joe, and we would love to claim a challenge month! Just let me know what to do/when our challenge month is and I'll confer with rest of the team on a suitable workout (within the guidelines, ofc). Rules are at the first post in this thread. https://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic....

I'm pretty sure that proper maintenance on the rower in my gym was lacking.
It was probably full of dust and cruft and the chain probably hadn't seen any oil since it left the factory, if my experience with badly maintained gym machines is anything to go by.

Call Concept2, they don't publish the cause and resolution for some of their error codes.

Re: Firmware update on multiple Ergs....

I wouldn't bother updating a PM3 if it's recording workouts in non-volatile RAM OK then you'll get no new function by updating it. TY, Is there any minimum level that introduced stability fixes that I should get up to on a PM3? If not I'll take your advice and skip updating. I just don't think it's...

Re: Restoration advice for Concept II Model D with PM3

Someone (Carl? Citroen? Nomath? anyone? ) could tell you what a known good generator looks like when you probe the end of the cable while spinning flywheel. (what to set the mult-meter to, what numbers to expect as you slowly rotate the flywheel) That could tell you if the generator is bad, or poin...

Re: Leg Drive

You're most likely sliding your butt (shooting the slide) and then pulling with your arms and back. Basically your legs are doing nothing. You need to practice just the leg drive. There are videos to help with that. THIS. ^^ As you fix this watch the split time or watts or calories display. You wil...
