Re: Cleaning the monorail

Another Windex user here. I wipe the rail off before rowing, them do the Windex-ed cloth on the rail and rollers afterwards. Keeps it looking near new and running smooth! Yeah with other experience from the last month I can say this is better: a fast wipe from dust with a cloth but without liquids ...

Re: PM5 Backlight

Yeah but I was calling for a timeout during rowing. I think you want it always on during rowing, thats the whole idea of a backlight its pretty useful in the winter if you forget to put the lights on at the start of the row and it gets dark on you. You would have to add a light sensor to the PM5 to...

Re: Cleaning the monorail

Tyrso, nice Simpson's clip. The photo was also very good. ahah thanks. At home I use window cleaner. At the gym I use the disinfectant wipes they have out. (they had them even before C19) I do it before my workout. (at the gym, obviously, since lots of folks might have used it since it was last cle...

Cleaning the monorail

Apart the fact that the word "monorail" evokes me always a song... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDOI0cq6GZM The manual says to clean it after every use. I prefer, instead, to do it before every use. Maybe I'm wrong, that's why I'm posting this. I noticed the black dirty that add on the rolls unde...

Re: Do I need a seatpad?

First experiment. I rowed always for an hour but I didn't check for my posture on the seat, only changed the feet position that I discovered was wrong. I was at 2 but the right postion for me is 4, maybe also 3(I have 42 of foot, 9 for US measure). Well, only thanks to this change I started to feel ...

Re: Chain not perfectly straight, is it a problem?

They respond me that "looks like there is slack in the chain, so it is hard to know if there is a problem." They asked me if runs smoothly and sincerely it does. So they said "There is not a concern if the links are all working properly". I'll take it for good, after all I'm not having problems, it ...

Thanks! I was searching and I saw this video yesterday!
Tomorrow, with the new session, I'll try it.

Re: Do I need a seatpad?

I will definitely check my pelvis position and let you know...I have to search at least a video/image of a perfect position to compare mine.

Re: Do I need a seatpad?

Thanks, that's a good feedback.
In reality I'm "quite" skinny, maybe I have less "meat" to protect me :D . (Reading your signature I'm shorter than you of 1 cm but I weight 12kg less!)
Anyway I'll certainly try what you said.
